my first upper household evr. since i am now a household leader,i attended my first upper household with our chapter heads ate jajhie and kuya nico and my co-household heads. ate mariz, cheen, thea, shobe, patrick and lloyd. we began the household with a worship, with patrick as the worship leader, [i miss this one haven't worship my God for a long time now..] and it always felt good being in His presence even just for a while. our heads have discussed the difference between commitment and involvement. we also talked about the things that we've done after our last formal gathering wich is the household head training last june 10 i think,, well.. they asked us,, what have we realized after the training,, after we committed with our God once again,, what are the things that we think we can sacrifice,, and when are we planning to do it. hmm.. let me think.. after i committed myself once again, i have realized a lot of things.. that being a household head leader means more responsibilities, that i should be a good example to my members which is a hard thing to do, because you really have to be good,, i mean not that you have to pretend that you're good but you really have to change not only for your members but for yourself, because you don't want to fool yourself,, and fool your members,.. now,, they are looking up to you,, you will have a great impact to them, you are the one responsible for their activeness.. you have to be there for them, treat them as your own sister. well,, you may think it's hard to do,, well me too.. but it is MY choice. God gave me this oppurtunity to take care of His children,, and i would be very glad to take it. i may not be the perfect leader, but i will do my best to be the best leader for them,, everything will change from now on, because now, i am willing to give up my free time,, i will alot it to my members,, for me, it's really a hard thing to do, because i am a party girl,, and i love hanging out with friends killing time by grabbing some coffee, or any drink.. but please don't expect me to do it instantly,, everybody needs adjustments.. and i can used a lil adjustment too. i am not perfect at all so, please give me some time to accomplish these things. hmm.. kuya nico said .."rome isnt build in a day" so thats it.. i'll star my sacrifice i think when the lower household starts, i told them that i will start after i received the list of my members, and i am really excited in calling them one by one but i am nervous too.. because, you know,, the feeling of rejection,, and everything.. ate jajhie quoted"I am working in you, you just have to be sensitive " [not the exact words] she said that, God is working in us, He sent us to make His children feel that He is also working in them,, sometimes we feel that we are unworthy because we're not sensitive enough to know that God is with us. i still dont know if i am ready for this, but with God beside me, i know i can do it,, i'l just pray for his guidance during the process,, and il be okay. thats it! they told us a story about a person who is dying because he hasnt eaten anything for days,, once upon a time there was a chicken and a pig, the chicken asked the pig, "anu kaya mabibigay natin sa taong yun para hindi magutom, kawawa nman sya eh,, baka mamatay siya.." the pig just sigh and think some more, then the chicken said, "aahh.. alam ko na, maglelay na lng ako ng eggs para makain niya" ..at nag lay nga xa ng egg.. the pig said to himself..."ahuh! alam ko na" and then hayuunn,, nagpakamatay si pig.. He gave his all, kc theres nothing more that he can give because he cant lay eggs, and he cant give the person some milk,, all he can offer Him is the meat, and for him to be able to give it, he have to sacrifice his own life,, ...that is the difference between being involved and being committed.. being committed means sacrificing more, and sharing what you have eventhough you know that nothing will be left for you,, sharing unselfishly.. being involved,, parang wala lng,, para lng masabi na nakatulong ka,, and sana sa service natin kay God, hindi lng tayo involved, dapat committed tayo sa kanya.. i know that sometimes it's hard,, sometimes we fall out of the circulation,, kc minsan hindi nagiging balance,, sabi nga ni kuya nico "maganda siguro kung balance lng ang lahat" it's true.. i am trying to balance my schedule, and so far i think i am doing good, because i have accomplished a lot of things lately without even cramming, so unlikely of me, because i am a certified crammer! also kuya nico wishes that with regards to our service and praying he prefers informal balancing of things,,
after the long talks and sharing, kuya nico and ate jajhie gave us the list and contact no.s of our beloved members.. haha,.!! questions were asked, and then the time for goodbye has arrived, cheen, patrick and lloyd went home together,, we stayed because ate jajhie let us eat some decent food,, we talked some more, and then they honor the bday celebrator's which is me and shobe,, and that's it, time for us to go,, kuya nico lead the closing prayer. we walked from ate jajhie's condo which is located along quezon ave. to pantranco to ride a jeep. before we went home we bought a cake for tita ampy coz it's her bday today! happy bday tita ampy! and then we grabbed some ice cream at jolibee.. and that's it,, that ends my day..
